About JLT
For over twenty years, Jennifer Taglione has been creating clarity out of chaos, one sentence at a time. Her passion for words began in the third grade when her teacher asked each student to create a story that would be bound and “published.” And while “Calin the Racoon’s Big Adventures” never reached the top of The New York Times Best Seller list, it became a family classic. Well, at least in the Taglione household!
Jennifer eventually made the jump from children’s fiction to journalism. As Senior Editor for The New Paltz Oracle, she was head of the copy editing and the layout & design teams. She was also the creator of “On The Town,” the local features section and “Page 2,” the custom designed News Briefs section.
In 2008, Jennifer discovered the fast growing world of blogging and developed her own concept: Stiletto Sports. It began as A Girl’s Guide to Sports, and expanded to an actual branded company, seemingly overnight. In addition to the website, Stiletto Sports now has it’s own product line, magazine and coming soon, online classes to teach about professional sports.
In January 2009, Jennifer joined The Bleacher Report and quickly shot up the ranks to become a regular contributing writer and editor. Her work has made it to the front page on many occasions and the fans there eagerly await her latest work. She also partnered with Digital Sports Daily and created a her own column “The Stiletto Report.” Her “NBA All-Star, All-Shoe Team” article was reviewed and rated in a Top 10 piece for Yahoo! Sports.
In addition to managing her own website and company, Jennifer also does contract writing, design and editing for numerous other sites and companies including Creative Web Concepts.
In her rare free time, Jennifer started multiple other blogs for pleasure. Peanut Butter ‘N Jenny, a pet blog about her cat Peanut Butter, developed a huge cult following and outgrew the original website within a month.
Her favorite part of being a writer (besides the time it allows her to spend at home with her kitten), is when she has the opportunity to make her friends and family cry with her words.
